What does the future of agriculture look like? As part of the MINT project “Smart Farming & Green Energy”, students can experience it firsthand. With the introduction of the FarmBot, cutting-edge automation technology is making its way into NMS Horitschon, bringing digitalization, sustainability, and innovative farming practices directly into everyday school life.

A great honor for the BECOM Group: At the gala event “Austria’s Best Family Businesses” held at the Sofiensäle in Vienna, the BECOM Group was awarded Best Family Business in Burgenland.

On May 12, 2026, Hochstraß in Burgenland became a hub of innovation and technology: At the BECOM Innovation Award 2026, students from HTL Pinkafeld presented their most innovative diploma projects to a distinguished audience from the business and industrial sectors.

At the beginning of January, the donation funds from the Betriebsrat’s Maroni & Glühwein campaign in December 2025 were presented to our colleague Rudi Fleischhacker. Thanks to the generous contributions from colleagues, €1,711 was collected. The BECOM management generously rounded this amount up to €4,000.
