With the commissioning of the photovoltaic system on the roof of the logistics centre of BECOM Electronics GmbH, the first important step was taken to become autonomous in an energy sense.
An area of 1000 m2 was equipped with the most modern modules. Fronius Tauro inverters ensure that the Burgenland sun is fed into the company network efficiently. The peak power of the modules is more than 150 kWp. The expected yield of more than 150 MWh of electricity produced per year will mainly be used for own consumption.
With our long-standing customer Fronius International GmbH, we have the ideal partner at our side. Fronius has been developing and implementing innovative methods for monitoring and controlling energy for welding technology, photovoltaics and battery charging technology since 1945.
If BECOM were not already using electricity from 100% renewable energy sources, the system yield could be converted to a saving of 92,600 kg of CO2.
